A Guardian Angel Adoptions recently received national and international attention as they responded to false allegations regarding the adoption practices and procedures in UT. Without calling them for comment or giving them a chance to refute the claims, the article named AGAA— listing them as one of the main offenders of the egregious protocols that create a negative experience for birth mothers and their babies. Major news outlets such as Yahoo Finance, World News, and International Business Times picked up the story giving AGAA a chance to set the record straight and clear up what could be potentially damaging misinformation.

A Guardian Angel Adoptions is committed to helping women from all backgrounds and in all situations make the choices that are right for them. An unexpected pregnancy can be overwhelming and scary and we are here to offer support—whatever that means to you. We never pressure a woman to make a specific choice, rather we are here to offer guidance and advice in whatever way she needs. Most of our staff are birth mothers or adoptive mothers who understand what adoption truly means.
Below are the resources that are available to any and all expectant mothers who look to A Guardian Angel for help.






FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Not at all. Becoming a birth mother is brave and loving; especially if you can’t provide a safe, stable, or full life for them at this time. Your child will one day be able to appreciate your sacrifice.

An Open Adoption is an agreement you make with the adoptive family on the level of contact you have with your child after placement. This will look and feel differently for each family.

Who you tell is up to you! It it our top priority to keep your information and your plans confidential.

You will communicate with your chosen adoptive family about how much and what information you want them to share about you.

Laws vary by state, but in the state of Utah, you have 24 hours to make the final decision and once you sign the paperwork the decision is final.

Laws vary in every state. Our experienced and knowledgeable adoption counselors will help you make a plan that fits your situation. There are many factors that determine a birth father’s rights.

Absolutely! You will work with our Placement Coordinators to choose the family you feel most comfortable with. You’ll also have a chance to meet them prior to the adoption.

There are no financial costs to you as a birth parent. Every state has different laws on birth parent expenses, but we will help you know what is allowable in the state you will be delivering in.
