Joyful Stories

“From start to finish, A Guardian Angel made our adoption experience something we will always cherish. They took care of all the details so we could just focus on loving our new baby, Luke.”

– Warren & Angie

“We’ve had the opportunity to adopt two children from this agency. Adoption is a scary thing and they did a great job attending to our needs and the needs of our birth moms. We are very grateful to have been able to work with them. They are experienced and empathetic to all parties involved. We would use them again without hesitation.”

Everything was done that could possibly be done to make me happy and comfortable.  I will never forget the people who helped save me and my little angel.

Our gratitude goes out to everyone at A Guardian Angel Adoptions.  This past week has been so hard and so heart breaking, but you guys have helped us so much.  I don’t think a day went by that we didn’t get a call from someone checking on us to make sure we were okay  and asking if they could help in any way.  The love and concern you have shown me and my family has truly been Christ like.

Matt and I never in a million years thought we’d have to go through what we did when we lost our own little boy.  And some people would think that it wouldn’t hurt as much.  But there’s something about telling all your friends and family and buying that first package of diapers and formula that makes that baby so real in your heart.  I’m grateful that you all knew how much she meant to us.  I knew the funeral would be hard, but seeing the care and gentle love you showed to Kimberly filled our hearts.  We were so touched by the deep caring and love you showed her.  You guys aren’t an adoption agency, you truly are angels.  Every single one of you.  When we got home and found a beautiful bouquet of flowers we both got tears in our eyes.  And the book on grieving that was perfect for our kids was amazing.

It’s easy for people to forget that our kids were looking forward to being with their little sister too.  But you guys didn’t.  Words can’t express our gratitude for all you’ve done for us.  It reminds me of the scripture where we are commanded to mourn with those who mourn.  You did that for us.  I know that Heavenly Father must look down on you guys and have joy in your work.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being the good people that you are.

Frequently asked questions

    • Where do I start?

You can begin your adoption journey by filling out our birth parent application that is available online or by contacting one of our adoption counselors on our toll-free, 24-hour line. (877) 74-ANGEL. You may also text or email using the links on this site.

    • Can I choose a family for my baby?

Absolutely! You will be able to choose from our pre-qualified and screened families. And we will be there to assist you in making the final decision as to which family you would like to place your baby with.

    • What are the steps of the adoption process?

The first step of the adoption process is deciding whether adoption is right for you. Our staff has helped hundreds of women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy and with their expertise can help you weigh your options and decide which one is best for you.

It is important to choose an adoption agency that cares for both you and your baby. We believe in providing the best care for everyone, so before, during, and after pregnancy, we offer free services that can help you on your adoption journey. Some of these services include providing safe and comfortable housing, food and clothing allowances, counseling, and we can even help you earn your GED. At A Guardian Angel Adoptions, these services offered at no cost to you.

The next step is to choose a customized adoption plan that contains a list of preferences for the kind of family you would like to adopt your child as well as some of the terms of the adoption (open adoptions vs. closed adoptions). We provide you with experienced counselors who will help you create a plan that fits your wants and needs.

Once you have created a plan, you can now choose an adoptive family. With adoptive family profiles and personal counseling, you are prepared to choose the family that you feel will be the best parents to your child. The family that can make your hopes and dreams for your child a reality.

The last steps of the adoption process are delivery and post-delivery preparation. We make certain that you are provided with a birth parent coordinator that will surround you with love, support, and understanding during your entire pregnancy and delivery. After delivery (timing depends on state) you will be able to sign your paperwork and then your baby is placed with the adoptive parents. You are then able to rest and recover in our housing and in most cases receive 6 weeks postpartum expenses so you can get back on your feet. Completing your adoption doesn’t mean we aren’t still there for you or that your support team is gone. We keep contact with many birth mothers for many years and love to hear from and support them. We also have a wonderful post placement manager that will help you receive updates on your baby.  At A Guardian Angel Adoptions, we know that adoption is creating families not dividing them and we are so grateful to have each member of our big amazing Guardian Angel family.
